Letter Writing Efforts to Legislators
Please read the following information about a community-wide effort to help our district through a letter writing campaign.
Hello Everyone,
Our district has lost over $1.6 million in the Lehman bankruptcy. There is a county wide effort to initiate a letter writing campaign to advocate for relief from the Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy through the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.
Click here for a template/sample letter suitable for an individual to send. The letter requires that we have information about local impact which includes losses to the extent possible with numbers and types of programs, services, etc..
Please support this effort. We need as many letters sent as soon as possible.
There are two options to deliver the letter(s):
Option 1: Have individual mail the letter(s) themselves
-or-
Option 2: Drop off the signed letter(s) to the school office at each site, so that the collected letters can be mailed or if local, can be hand delivered to the legislators' office(s).
|
Mail to: Honorable Anna Eshoo |
Copy to: Speaker Nancy Pelosi Senator Dianne Feinstein |
The letters which are collected at the school offices will be copied by volunteers on donated paper to make cc copies and will be mailed or delivered.
Your help and support is much appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact the school district.
Keiko Smith

We are looking for:
