Enrollment Procedure
Welcome to the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District! Enrollment procedures begin with locating your school of residence. Your street address will be used to determine where your child will go to school. Parents who do not know their school attendance area may use the Street Listing Assignment for Elementary Schools or call 650-637-4800.
Please note that your child may be assigned to another school in the District due to over-enrollment at your school of residence. Staff will work closely with you to provide you with information and options.
BEGINNING FEBRUARY 1ST, 2010 Registration forms will be available in the school offices and on our website to download for printing (http://brssd.org).
FEBRUARY 22ND – 26th, at school offices: Sibling registration window opens. (Please note that failure to register during the week of 2/22-26/10 will mean that you will lose your "sibling" priority placement for 2010/2011.)
MARCH 1ST, at school offices: Registration begins for all others; completed packets accepted.
Parents and legal guardians can download from our website (as noted above) or pick up registration packets at the school starting February 1st, 2010. Please refer to the Registration Packet, Oral Health Assessment Form, and Verification Form for the required documents needed. Note that only those who have provided ALL necessary information as listed in the checklist will have completed registration and be assigned an enrollment number.
Please bring original documents and provide one copy of each, if possible. We will review the original, return it to you, and keep the copy. Please be prepared to wait - every effort will be made to expedite the registration process. Your patience will be appreciated.
Kindergarten registration is due early so the District can plan effectively for the upcoming school year. School offices will close June 23rd, and the District Office will be open to accept registrations during the summer months.
